saw this last night.
i liked this movie, i will most likely purchase it for the special features, if any, and for the expected "rewatchability".
it was of course complete BS that they didn't die at least twice - namely a) when they went through the building on the air-bike thing and b) when the sign fell. were the directors trying to make them seem superhuman? it seemed that way.
Scarlet J (don't know how to spell the last name). Wow. I have seen Lost In Translation, but The Island made her stand out much more for some reason. She almost seems like a type of throwback actress... like you could see her in an old 50s B&W film and she would fit right in. She will probably be a mainstay in Hollywood for as long as she wants to.
I am a fan of Ewan McGregor and I think he did a really good job of portraying the curious emotions of his character in this too.
overall I give this 4.5/5. great movie imho.
