Movie: The Gift...it was GOOD!

The story was decent, but mostly predictable. The ending was too far fetched, even for this type of movie.

BUT! What MADE this movie GOOD were performances by 2 people.

Giovanni Ribisi;
This guy can go from placid lake to TSUNAMI is a split second! What a rush to watch him! He had a couple of scenes in this movie that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

Keanu Reaves;
Yes, that's right I said Keanu. For me, I usually have ZERO respect for his acting ability...But even I have to admit that he played one hell of a good part as a Battering Husband.

All in all, this movie was average...But Giovanni and Keanu make it worth seeing.

I thought Cate Blanchett was luminous in her role.

I saw it last weekend....

When I read the title I thought it said The Game, which I got the other day and was quite good, seems I'll have to keep my eye out for The Gift now though.
