Which movie receives your recommendation that may not have done amazingly in the box off but is still a great flick.
Adaptation, Fifth Element (seem to remember that not doing well in theaters).

I will check out both! Thanks 🙂
You've never seen Fifth Element? :Q That and Officespace are like required viewing for AT... you're in for a treat. 😀

"Paycheck" was surprisingly good for a Ben Affleck movie and I think it bombed in theaters
Are you high? That was one of the cheesiest movies I've ever seen... bad acting, god-awful dialogue... guh...
I just bolded the important part 🙂 .

It was a fun mix of Memento, Myst and Total Recall. Nothing like The Life Aquatic but still an enjoyable popcorn movie.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
 I liked it much better than the Royal Tenenbaums, for the script, actors and the Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas) sea creatures.

As long as it was better than "Bottle Rocket" but nothing will ever compare to "Rushmore"

Rushmore is my favorite of his, I still watch it and laugh until it hurts.

I haven't seen it in years, need to find the DVD and pop it in.

She's my Rushmore, Max....
I know, she was mine too.

so you went to vietnam huh?
yeah
were you in the sh!t?
yeah I was in the sh!t

😀

Just saw the Life Aquatic too...great stuff

This thread reads like the list of movies that my indie-art-student roommate watches. Most are good movies, but it's basically a list of popular independent/underground movies. Just go grab a list of sundance winners and post that here.
