Movie Preview Rant

My gf wanted to see Finding Nemo so yesterday we went to a matinee.

During the previews, there was a trailer for an animated Pixar film that looked interesting, amusing, etc. The Incredibles, I think.

Then the release date came onscreen: 11-5-2004.

WHAT!?

They're running previews A YEAR AND A HALF before the movie releases!?

Disney needs a good, HARD kick in the pants.

It's all about the hype. Get them hot and bothered with a little peek...

Yea it's hype. The Incredibles trailer was released on the web around the time Finding Nemo came out.

The preview where that moose or whatever said "this is the one disney movie you should see all year" bit was pretty funny 🙂
