Movie Poll/Question

I am doing a project and would like to poll everyone for a few things.

1. 3 good "Fight" scenes from a movie(actual fist fights, martial arts)
2. 3 good "Gun Battle" movie scenes
3. 3 good car chases

I realize 1,2,or even 3 of these might be in the same scene, so pointing those out would be helpfull as well. Please exclude any scenes from: matrix, fast & furious, reloaded, ronin, transporter, fight club, snatch, b/c i have these already in mind. thanks.

also keep the plot lines current as possible. i.e. no wwii movies(although good, i cannot include these in the project)
 
You do realize that as soon as you excluded all those movies you've just lost about 99% of the relevant answers you would have gotten, right?

well, im not excluding them...just, i already know about the good scenes in them. Trying to get those that i havnt seen, or thought of yet.

they're obvious answers....

Bullit is a classic but the car chase scene is, partly, pretty lame. It's the same sequence over and over again.

EQUILIBRIUM IS UTTER FILTH.

That said, I would recommend the following:

The French Connection (car chases)
The Way of the Gun (realistic gunplay)
Boondock Saints (unrealistic but f*cking sweet gunplay)
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (more great gun scenes, funnier than hell, Guy Ritchie is gawd)
Hard Boiled (the most unrealistic but sweet-ass gunplay scenes ever captured on film)
the Killler (see Hard Boiled)
the ORIGINAL Gone in 60 Seconds (car chase, 30 FREAKING minutes long)
 
Fight scene: The end of Lethal Weapon, the fight scene in the bus station in The Transporter

Car Chase: Opening sequence of The Transporter, the car chase about 30 minutes into A View To A Kill (James Bond movie), the tank/car chase in Goldeneye (another James Bond movie)

Gun Battle: The last 20 minutes of Commando 😀
 
The best car chase I've ever seen was in The Italian Job (the original from 1969 not the new one that comes out next week)
 
1) Broken Arrow (end), Fight Club (pick one), Enter the dragon

2) Matrix Lobby, Heat (after the bank),

3)Ronin, Gone in 60 secs, Italian Job (origional)
 
3 is too hard for me, so I'll try naming one of each -

Fight scene - Grosse Pointe Blank, where John Cusack's character gets attacked by a hitman in a school hallway. Quick, brutal, and realistic.
Gun battle - True Lies, mall bathroom scene. Mainly for the shot of the old guy at the end 🙂
Car chase - MI:2 had some cool (albeit a little *too* unrealistic) sequences with Tom on the bike near the end

thanks for all the suggestions people, will check them all out. Cant believe i forgot about heat for gun fight scene
