I remember one of those teen romantic comedies where the boyfriend was at a party, not knowing his girlfriend was there. He kept on complaining about how his girlfriend was withholding sex from him, and then suddenly saw that his girlfriend heard him. His girlfriend then immediately said to one of her friends, "Can I get a ride home?" and left.

90s, i believe. About the time when there were a bunch of movies of this type coming out with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Julia Stiles. Not sure if either one of them were in the one I'm describing though.
