Moveon.org Theifs?

Woke up this morning to find that our Bush-Cheney sign is no longer in the front yard. Also, the "Support our Troops" magnet is no longer on my Mom's car. Not only that, but there was a Moveon.org pamphlet in the door. Coincidence?

That makes me so angry.

Edit: Got footage of person taking sign.

Definately not Republican here but c'mon, respect other people's stuff. The booklet would've been good enough.

First, learn to spell. It's "thieves". Consider yourself lucky that they just took the stuff and left a pamphlet. In this election season with things getting so heated, both sides are doing much worse. Many cars with stickers (both sides) are getting keyed and vandalized etc etc.

I understand how people want to support their candidate, but come on, do they really have to destroy or remove other people's property? Do they really think they're somehow going to convince the people to change their vote by doing that kind of stuff? Stupid......

It's just the darn 527s. I didn't mean for this to become political.

"527's" are just organizations not (directly) connected to the parties or candidates that spend money to promote certain issues. In reality they pretty much spend money to slander the other candidate and sling mud. I agree with you that there's no reason for this kind of stuff to go on. Just be glad it wasn't worse though 🙂

Post the security video.

And if all this pre-election stupidity is any indication, come Wednesday morning, I think we're set for a civil war. We've got two full auto AK's, 4000 rounds of ammo and both vans fueled up for a sprint to Canada.

There are stories in the paper here of higher than usual levels of sign theft by people supporting both parties who have decided "the ends justify the means."

It wasn't MoveOn.org that did this, just some tiny-brained partisan who thinks winning the election is more important than protecting freedom of speech.

There was an article a while back about a teenage kid who went out and stole a few hundred Bush/Cheney signs from people's yards. He got charged with a few criminal charges, don't remember what exactly though.

According to John Titor the Civil War is set to start this year.
