Try reposting this in the OS section, you'll get better response...

Also be more specific. Like what OS your are using and when exactly does it occure...
So people have a better idea what they are looking at.

If it does it during boot-up with a thing like Redhat, it could be driver issues with the video card.... try switching to console with a ctrl alt and one of the F 1-6 buttons simitaniously.
