I have a strange one that is bugging me. I play Diablo 3 and sometimes, I'll play from an RDP connection. Everything works fine for the most part but I've noticed something really strange.
If I minimize the RDP session or close it, with the game open and running, it will spike the CPU by about 40% constantly. So just leaving the game in menu and open the CPU will hit like 80% or so (all 4 cores). when I open or maximize it, the Cores drop back to 10%.
I've tested with Video and GPU benchmarks and they don't exhibit this behavior...just this game. I would guess it's not directX since or the video driver since the above test didn't show the same spike. I've looked online and found some old patches for RDP but they didn't do anything to help.
Anyone have a thought?
