Well I come back from Costa Rica tonight only to find out my computer is broken after my parents moved while I was gone.

Tried turning it on and it will not POST. It simply turns on and powers up, the fans and such at least but doesnt go anywhere from there and nothing appears on the monitor. Its been doing well for a few years so I am pretty rusty with the inside of my computer and general knowledge since I built it.

If I can remember right I am running :

Nforce4 Ultra motherboard
GeForce 6600GT video card
AMD 3500 64
Antec PSU
1GB Patriot RAM
Western Dig 70GB HDD

Any ideas would be nice. Kinda about time for a new computer anyways but it would be nice to get it working for a little while.

thanks.

Check the seating of every component. Something might have been knocked loose. Pci (and AGP) cards and RAM sticks are especially prone to this.

Try another power outlet. The one you are using might be defective.

Checked that and removed my RAM and a few other nonessential things.

If not, then I assume my comp is fucked?
