Hello,
I have a cable connection, which runs to a router, with port 1 going to a node, with port 2 going to a 5 port switch, and port 3 going to a WIN2K advanced server system running coldfusion admin, DNS, WINS, but not DHCP because the gateway router handles that.
At first I only had two ports coming off the gateway router, and the advanced server system was behind the switch off of port 2. Everything was running fine, Coldfusion server, etc. When I took the advanced server system from behind the switch and directly connected it to the 3rd port on the Gateway router, I started getting the error "At least one service failed during startup" and when I tried loading my coldfusion admin page it said page not found.
What affect could moving the machines around had? The IP address is still the same, and I can still call up the ftp service and http service just fine from any other computer on the network. Internet access from the Adv server works fine too.
Im lost.
Thanks!
