As for the States-bound WRX STi, which comes with goodies added to the WRX, including a 261-hp turbocharged four, U.S. Subie officials are mum as to when it hits showrooms.

Well, until then. What's that, the S4 Avant? I know I've heard of that motor going into an Audi, I just thought it was going into a 6, not a 4...

Now if they made a wagon version, that would be sweet! I'm still hoping that the Evo 8 isn't nutured to all crap... but Mitsubishi is SATAN, so I wouldn't put it past them.

Well, a nice 2000-1 S4 would be a pretty even match for the Legacy other than the fact that the Legacy is a bigger car. I think it'd compare more to an S6.
