I am creating a Macromedia Director piece for an interactive CD-ROM, it's going to be 12-15 individual minute or so video clips, which file format will be more likely viewable by most PC users?

Once I decided on the format, should I stick with Sorenson for MOV and CinePak for AVI? Are those standard compressors?

Thanks for the help!

By far and large, most Windows based PC's will have an AVI codec installed.
MOV was meant originally for MACs and was ported over to PC's.

Best bet AVI

I agree w/what SilverBack said. But I'd just like to add that, IMO, Sorenson is a better codec than CinePak and you could always include the quicktime viewer on the CD so people w/o QT could install it. But in the grand tradition of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) making a AVI would be the simplest way to go.
