Mov files with W Xp Is there a built in program that plays them?

Infos

I was going to download Quicktime but isn't Media Player
that comes with windows Xp supposed to play these type
files?
I changed file association and it said improper file heading when I
tried to open the .mov file.

Also I was trying to save jpg but it would only let me save it as
an .art type file. Does that require some kind of special program to open?
My photoshop and Irfanview can't open it. 😱

Thanks

.mov are quicktime files and i'm almost positive there's no way to get media player to play them

.art files are AOL image types...i *think* you can open them with internet explorer

Are you using subscriber.anandtech.com or forums.anandtech.com
