is there a big difference between the microsoft explorer and the microsoft intellimouse. and does the logitech optical is better than the intllimouse.

This part is just a preference. I prefer the Logitech.

Another vote for Logitech. IMHO, Microsoft has better keyboards, Logitech has better mice.

I like Logitech better than MS, but MS is easily my second choice. I use a logitech Mouseman at home and a MS Intellimouse optical at work. I haven't used the explorer. Ether way they are all decent mice.
