Mouse with same form factor as Razer Copperhead

After 4 years, my Razer Copperhead finally bit the dust (the mouse wheel broke and won't click or scroll). Last month I had tried out the Death Adder, but couldn't use it because I use a "claw" grip when gaming with my pinky bent on the side of the mouse. Holding the DA this way caused wrist pain.

My question is, are there any mice out there in the same form factor as the Copperhead? It doesn't have to be a Razer mouse. I've heard good things about Steelseries, but would rather not throw down $100 or $85 on the Sensei and Xai.

The Razer Taipan looks nice but the way it bows out in the back looks just like the Death Adder.

hahaha I was in the same boat as you. I had a copperhead that died and wanted another but they don't make them anymore. I bought a death adder, hated it, and sold it to a friend. luckily they apparently have them in Israel because a guy on ebay was selling them new in box. unfortunately he no longer seems to sell them.

luckily I have a friend who has a razer diamondback and it feels very similar to the copperhead. unfortunately again, the diamondback isn't being sold anymore. LUCKILY, you can still get it brand new from ebay. little pricey because it is from Korea but I highly rate this as a replacement to a copperhead.

That's definitely an option, but it's a little pricey.

Anyone use the Razer Abyssus? I've heard it's pretty good for claw grippers.

So I bought myself the Razer Abyssus and hated it (way too light).

Could anyone offer up some suggestions? I'm looking at the Logitech G9X, MX518, CM Spawn, and Steel Series Sensei.

Logitech only for me. 3 reasons

1) Logitech support is the best for peripherals. They'll replace almost anything for almost any reason.

2) They don't overprice their stuff by adding useless firmwares and memory. Steelseries stuff is pretty decent but they overprice because they sponsor MLG. Look at the mice people who are sponsored by Steelseries use. Many of them aren't using Steelseries mice.

3) They last longer than Razer mice. I went through 4 razer mice in the amount of time I've had my Logitech G400. The buttons just don't wear out as quickly.

BTW: The MX518 isn't made anymore but you might still find it somewhere. The G400 is the new mouse with the same feel and design but with an updated sensor.

Just try not to fall for the "made by gamers" or "official mouse of the MLG" or stuff like that.
