Mouse suggestions (not for gaming)

I am looking for a mouse that is comfortable and functional for a right-handed person. Does not matter if it is wired or wireless. Budget is up to $40.

-I'd like it to have a wheel that clicks as it scrolls. I don't like the new Microsoft wheel.
-Forward and back buttons would be nice. Though I don't like buttons on the rightside.

Any suggestions? I've never tried trackballs. Are they good enough for a lot of use?

I've been using my MX1000 for almost a year, and I can say that it is one of the most comfortable mouse in the market. I don't know if the G7 uses the same ergonomics, but if they do, go for that, since you can change the weight to your desire.

Or you can go to your local Staples/Best Buy and actually try out some of them on display to see which one you like the best.

How about the MX518 or the Razor mice? Both are pretty good, even though they're not laser.

I think the Logitech LX7 would be nice. It can be used as a left-handed and a right-handed mouse. It has both the back button and the forward button. I am not sure if it clicks as the scrolls though. I am thinking about getting it within this week, but I would like to get some user input first.
