Hey all, I'm having a really wierd problem.
Any game that uses opengl or runs in windowed mode and grabs the mouse (ie, locks it within its window) has my mouse getting locked in the top left hand corner of the screen. In fps games this translates to looking straight up and spinning.

I can't figure out where this came from or what to do about it.
I'm running Windows Vista and an ATI X1950XT with catalyst 7.12 and I didn't use to have this problem. Have no idea when it started however, I think after installing cat 7.12 though.

I don't get that problem in game, but whenever I minimize CS 1.6 (which is opengl), my mouse will periodically go to the upper left hand corner of the screen. This only happens when the game is minimized so I haven't really looked into it that much.
I'm on XP with a mobility radeon x700... not sure of the driver version. However, I'm pretty sure this happens on my desktop as well, which has an nvidia card. I'd suggest changing drivers.

Do you have an xbox 360 controller plugged in anywhere, or maybe a Guitar Hero controller for pc? If you do that would be the problem, if not then idk, I doubt that it's your drivers though. Just throwing the controller thing out there because it happens to my friend and I all the time.

I have on occasion, but not as of right now. And it's not that a joystick is turning the view, the mouse cursor (if there is one) will go to the corner. It happens in all windowed games that grab the mouse, as well as opengl games, but not full screen direct3d or games that don't grab the mouse.
