if i let my mouse sit for a few seconds, and then go to move it, it sticks and then moves....sort of like the stick u get w/ intensive disk access and the mouse jerks at first when it moves...
if i don't let the mouse stay still for several seconds, it won't do it...it's a micro innovations USB mouse (3-button) using a qtronix driver (the same driver used for win2k without any problems)...any ideas?
hardware:
asus k7m
turtle beach santa cruz
windows XP
256mb RAM
geforce 256 SDR
all windows updates installed (except the alleged SP1 - btw, anyone install this?...fix anything?)
EDIT: thanks to my ingenuity and sheer wit, i solved it...apparently winxp has a USB setting for turning off the device when not in use to save power...GAY that they would enable it by default for a mouse...anyway, all is solved. MUCH BETTER....
