Mouse sensitivity problems in Battlefield 1942

can't seem to make my mouse sensitivity work right in battlefield 1942 or any of its mods. I try adjusting the sensitivity to what I want and it works fine in menus and when I'm spectating, but the second I'm alive and aiming the sensitivity is not what I set it to. No matter what setting I try it's always the same. Does anyone else have this problem? It's extremely agrivating since in almost every fps shooter I use a sensitivity around 1-2 and this current setting feels like 6-8.

Have you tried to adjust sensitivity in both Windows and BF42 or just in the game? Try both, set it in Wondows to what you like and turn it all the way down in game.

BF1942 has four places to adjust mouse sensitivity, for different scenarios. It sounds like you've been adjusting it only in the "Common" tab under "Controls." You should also adjust it under each of the other tabs; "Infantry" will affect your mouselook speed while running about and shooting, "Air" will adjust the pitch and roll while you're flying, and "Land/Sea" will change how fast the tank turrets and ship guns rotate.

Thank you, I hadn't noticed that there were different sensitivities. Works fine now.
