mouse sensitivity consistency?

I've been using a logitech mx510 for so long, whenever I try to upgrade to a new mouse I end up taking it back because I can't get used to different sensitivities. I recently got a logitech VX nano for my EeePC, and I like it a lot, but its sensitivity/DPI is way higher then my mx510. I've tried changing the sensitivity in the control panel mice properties, but I can't find a notch that matches the 510. Is there some other way to get a consistent mouse sensitivity from different mice with different DPI/sensor types?

With a G5, the combination of uberOptions and Windows mouse speed control allows you basically any sensitivity you want. Actually, uberOptions alone is probably enough - it lets me change the DPI from 400 to 2000 (in 50 DPI intervals), and both X and Y axis independently. Not sure if the VX nano has the same adjustment properties, but check it out - http://www.mstarmetro.net/users/rlowens/
