If you get the same problem with four different mice then there really are only a few possibilities:
1) If all of the mice you tried were the same kind (USB/PS2/wireless) then try a mouse that uses a different connection to see if it's a problem with the plug/port on the motherboard.
2) If the mice were all different types, then it's most likely a software problem, so either mouse drivers, or something on the computer is interfering with the operation of the mouse. Completely uninstall (delete) the Mouse from the Device Manager and then reboot and reinstall the mouse. If the problem continues, I would suspect spyware or a virus (or a corrupt mouse application or utility that is running in the background).
