"Mouse" sanders...

Confused

Elite Member
I am thinking of buying a small mouse style sander for sanding down my server case, but I am unsure as to whether I could put my own paper on there (i have up to 1500 grit wet/dry, which i REALLY need to use), or whether I will have to get their own, proprietry paper stuff?

Has anyone had any experience with using their own paper on one of these, and if so, any tips/tricks for me 🙂

Believe me I do not really wish to do what I am doing by hand!

Thanks in advance 🙂

I think it really depends on which detail sander you want to get. I think most of them use either the velcro backing or glue backing. There are models from porter cable and dremel that you should be able to put your own sandpaper in
