my mouse is pissing me off.
ok so i use logitech cordless keyboard and mouse. keyboard works fine...but freakin mouse started messin up recently. the pointer would get stuck at either the top or the bottom edge of the screen. like it can move horizontally along the top or bottom edge but wont come off the edge. so i thought the batteries are low. replaced the batteries...still the same thing. if have to shake it around or hit it and if im lucky it'd come out of the edge. but then would go back there randomly and get stuck.
so i got fed up with this crap and decided to switch to my old corded mouse. it was workin fine for a while but get this....now this mouse is stuck in a vertical direction. atleast its not stuck at the edges.......but when it gets stuck it only moves in a vertical direction. then after a while it starts workin properly again for some time...then it gets stuck in a vertical motion again. this happens repeatedly.
i uninstalled the cordless mouse drivers and am using generic microsoft mouse drivers.
now...wtf is wrong with my mouse? is it a hardware problem? ie...is the PS/2 port messed up on my motherboard? i doubt that otherwise it wouldnt work correctly every now and then...it wouldnt work correctly at all. is it a software problem? is it a virus?
