hey, I just posted a problem with my mouse in win98, using D3D games. My PS2 and USB mouse freezes in these games, but works normally otherwise. Might be related. This board has had many issues it appears...
Ok so when you were using windows your mouse worked fine?
Did you even check to see if you had the proper mouse drivers for linux?
how is this in ANY way related to the motherboard?! you tried 3 mice huh? did they all work in windows? if so ITS LINUX! (or linux drivers) its not that hard to figure out.
Check everything on a windows box first. if it works. IT WORKS... And the hardware is not the problem.
Is the mouse just slow or does it stop working altogether? Is it slow even when using a different X windows manager (ie. Gnome or KDE)? What version of Linux are you using?
