Hiya,
I use a Wheelmouse from Logitech, and recently whenever i move the mouse
the smallest amount possible, I can't get it to move just one pixel, it always moves two pixels. As I sometimes work with graphics you can imagine what this does to precision.

I use Win2000pro

Any ideas (I have logitechs latest 9.24 drivers for the mouse)

Agreed...Leave the pointer in the center of the scale for Pointer speed (which is the default and will definitely impact graphics work if moved to the right) and get your extra speed by clicking on the "Accelerate" tab and choosing Low, Medium, or High.

Thanks for answering, but thats not the problem. It's more like a grid on the
screen thats half my screenresolution. The mouse then snapps to this grid.

This means that some pixels can never be reached as they "fall" between.

Very odd, I have never ever seen this on any other comp.

Wellwell..

What specific application are you refering too? What resolution are you working at? Is there a chance you changed resolution AFTER the program was installed? Sometime you have to re-profile the display so the graphics app works properly.

The fenomena exists in all resolutions and in the entire Windows, all applications. It's like the mouse pointer exists in a lower resolution thats half of whatever the current screensize is.

It has absolutely nothing to do with speed settings, acceleration, or the speed I move the mouse with.

I will mail Logitech about it, but I doubt that they will take their time to dig up a solution.
