mouse pointer gets lost

hi..just installed winxp .. got a question.. my mouse pointer gets lost whenever i scroll over to the rightmost side of the screen.. then when i scroll back to the left it shows again.. i have resized the monitor settings and made it fit well..but mouse pointer still gets lost when scrolled to the rightmost side... how do i fix this?? is this a display problem? mouse problem? or winxp device issue?? what can i do thnks.. i knw its really not that much..but it kinda gets annoying.. thks
