What is your favorite mouse pad and why? Are there certain things in mouse pads that you are looking for that you guys can't find? Need your opinions...

Oops...also, what shape mousepad do you guys like most?

Thanks!
Chris

Mouse pads only cause the trackball to foul up with all kinds of electrically charged lint causing people to call into tech support because their computer is broken, " the pointer thingy just jumps all over the place "
So I use an optical mouse , It will work on almost any surface.

Ratpadz all the way. i was skeptical at first, but for 13 bucks, i said what the hell. Now I'll never go back. You really do have much more control and precision with this thing. I've heard good things about the func 1030 as well...

I have used Everglide-Giganta and Logitech-Wingman. I love them both:D. The Everglide-Giganta, is very fast(good for gaming), good control too. The Logitech-Wingman, better control and slower than Everglide-Giganta. I like my mouse pad BIG.

Everglide Giganta (Black) for my optical logitech wheel mouse... smooth on ny surface, much smoother on the everglide... love the shape, size is huge... the ratpad isn't bad either, but my friend has one with a logitech cordless mouseman and he's been complaining that it's wearing out the feet on his mouse... grain seems to be coarser...

I prefer the ones with the attached gelpad for my wrist. Sure takes the pain out of extended mousing.

For my Logitech Optical Mouseman Wheel I am using an Allsop Purple Rain drops mousepad and it works GREAT. I mean GREAT! Think its a marriage between mousepad and mouse :) They work fine together :)

I hate mouse pads and use either a MS Optical Wheel Mouse or a Logitech Optical Wheel mouse on just my desk surface. They are both great.

Logitech optical w/Ratzpad. Works better than the 3M PMS, graph paper, and desktop surface!

I'm not even using a mouse pad. and it's not an optical mouse. I've tried the allsop someone mentioned, it was all right. Then I got one of those 3m pads and saw a big improvement when playing UT. after a couple months the pad started to curl up so now i'm just using the laminated desk surface with my logitech mouseman wheel. I just love the feel if this mouse, even if it does have BALLS.
