Mouse over ads in Crome

I just uninstalled Chrome then re-installed it because of the very annoying mouse over ads that infect most every page --including this one. This malware or whatever it is consists of highlighted text within each page that has a double underline under it and both the highlights and underlines are bright green.

So, after uninstalling Chrome I ran a scan with Microsoft Security Essentials and found nothing. I then re-installed Chrome and the ads are still there.

So, what is this crap and how do I get rid of it? If this is a new "feature" of Chrome I will have to delete it and move on -- I will not tolerate this crap!

Any ideas?

Maybe try Malwarebytes, and also check for a bad Chrome extension. Check your installed programs also. Sometimes quasi legitimate malware gets installed with programs.

Sounds like you have some junkware that has taken over your browsers.

Best 2 programs to remove anything related to them is the following:

ADWCLEANER

JRT Removal

Run both of these programs and you should be good.
