mouse or trackball

I'm curious who uses what. I've been using a Kensington Expertmouse (it's actually a trackball) for many years and love it. I can use mice, but I prefer the trackballs. Does anybody have any reasons for using what they do? I do play quite a bit of UT, and it works perfectly for targeting those sorry little people that get in my way.

I'm using Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (an optical mouse with no trackball at the bottom), which is the best mouse I have ever used in my 6-year computing life. I used a trackball before. I didn't like the feeling of resting a hand on the trackball and moving only the thumb. My thumb simply got tired easily! I like to use a mouse. At least, it's smaller in size when compared to a trackball, and I can execise more parts of my hand (not only the thumb), 😀

I think it's all a matter of what your used to. If you get used to using a mouse for so long using anything else is weird

Went from 4 years of Logitech Trackman Marble OG (the one without the wheel) to a Logitech Wingman Gaming Mouse recently.. accuracy with the railgun in Q3 and sniper rifle in UT were a modest 50-80% on a good day now 70-90 on an average to good day!
