Mouse not working in Doom

I got the Doom Collectors edition since I never really got into the old games. I only played the Demo of Doom when I was a kid.

However it seems as if the game does have mouse support, but while in the game the mouse does not seem to work. Any ideas on how to get the mouse to work? I am using a cheap Logitech mouse if tht helps.
