mouse n keyboard always on !!

i have the Asus A8n SLi motherboard with and AMD A64 X2 4400 processor.

the problem is that whenever i shutdown my computer the keyboards light and the optical mouse light stays ON.

i bet there is some problem in the wiring of the mobo, but can anyone point it out ? or is this normal ?

i use a 500w smps made by VIP. it is quite as good as the ones by Antec and gives out true rated power.

This is normal.. Part of the 5v standby power.

This is for keyboard/mouse poweron. Some mainboards have BIOS controls and/or jumpers that let you select whether you want the kbd/ms on standby power or on main power.
