Mouse movement behavior is strange

I've noticed this after installing a new game (Fable 3.) Usually when this happens I could restart my computer and it would be fixed but this time it seems permanent. Already uninstalled the game. The red lines are what movement I am performing on my mouse (straight down.) The black lines are the result. It seems to move around in a snake like pattern horizontally and vertically. I've tried three different mice, several surfaces and it is all the same. Any thoughts? System restore is not possible since there's no recent data points. Thanks.

Can you find a wireless mouse to try?

Also I've heard certain viruses can affect mouse action but never observed it personally. Do you run AV/anti-malware software?

Is your computer functioning normally other than this issue?

My computer is running eset nod32 and nothing was found. Everything seems to be running perfectly except the mouse movement. I'll try a wireless mouse in a few hours.

Prolly couldn't hurt to see what happens when you're booted into safe mode. May eliminate a lot of software conflicts/drivers that way.
