Mouse light stays on when computer is off?

I just upgraded to an ASUS P5GDC-V Deluxe and the light on my optical mouse stays on after I turn off the computer. It's one of those early plain microsoft optical mouse (It's USB) plugged into a USB to AT adapter. I guess it's drawing power from there, but shouldn't it stop after the computer is off?

That's a well-known issuse with some mobos - usually fixed with a BIOS update unless this condition obtains:
If KBPWR jumper is set to [1-2] (Enable), +5VSB power is still on for the mouse even system is in soft off mode, please set KBPWR jumper to [2-3] to disconnect +5VSB from power supply to PS/2 ports - same w/ ppwer on by USB.
. This info is easily found in the mobo mfr's FAQs - he helps those who help themselves...
