Mouse lag in Far Cry

I've been playing Far Cry on my PC, pretty low spec (1.5G AXP,384Gb, logitech USB cord mouse,Golden sampleTi200) and have been suffering mouse lag even when frame rates are above 40. This happens when I turn on 'cryvision' (nightvision). Problem doesn't go away even when I turn resolution and config parameters lower. Cryvision gives a huge hit to framerates (80->4o)

As I said, this problem is kindof odd because the lag I'm experiencing is very bad compared to somewhat playable framerates I'm having.

I don't have any(or much much less) problems when I don't turn cryvision on.
 
Man, check my comp specs below, I even have problems with lag, and you wouldn't really expect it with my rig... All mky friends experience the same, too bad too, cause Far Cry is an awesome game!
