(re-posting into Motherboards for more exposure)

I'm having USB mouse/keyboard issues, and am desperately seeking suggestions.

I built the rig, and then installed Windows. Things seemed fine. Mouse/keyboard working both in the BIOS and in Windows.

Then I installed the latest .INF file for this MB. I reboot, and my mouse and keyboard don't respond when I get to Windows. I've made sure to enable USB mouse/keyboard support in the BIOS.

I've noticed that my keyboard lights go dark during the "PCI device listing" screen that shows just before Windows loads.

I've reset the CMOS just in case, but no luck. Booting into Safe Mode does not help. Mouse/keyboard work fine on another computer.

Super frustrating as I can't control a single thing once within Windows. Any ideas?

Use a PS2 keyboard and/or mouse to look at the driver in device manager and try to update it. I had that happened once since the correct driver didn't load.

No response using a PS2 keyboard/mouse once Windows loads.
