Mouse & Keyboard not working in BF2

Mouse and Keyboard works fine and dandy in BF2 during the login and server selection area, everything works great but when the game begins the part that shows you the map and gun selection, thats where the mouse stops moving and the keyboard doesnt work. This happened after I updated zone alarm. I checked the settings in ZA and made sure all the zones for BF2 were green light and still no mouse and keyboard function during gameplay!

Any suggestions?
 
Nevermind I found the problem, for some weird reason all the controls were blank, not default but blank all controls were set to nothing. even the video settings were messed up. I blame ZA or something else. I feel like a goof oh well just one of those days=)
