For about 2 weeks now my normal 2-button PS/2 Microsoft mouse has been acting worse and worse.
When playing TRIBES 1, I will be fighting someone and the mouse will freak out causing me to look around like 360 degrees real fast,and uses both mouse buttons on its own usually getting me killed.... by myself.
Then while surfing the web my pointer will be stubborn on moving,it will freak out like my game and do everything at once usually closing all my windows,and jus recently causes pc to freeze where I cant even ctrl-alt-del. Oh and when it freaks it will cause the left button to act like the right for awhile.
Ive had it since I got my first pc a little over a year ago. I used to hit it real hard out of anger the first few months(didnt do it much ) when I was tryin to get Q3A to stop freezing(never succeded). I broke this little grey peice off from inside around that time but it worked up until now. I regularly clean the lintcrap off the little, black rollers so thats not it. Ive never changed my mouse drivers either....maybe I should?
Please help if you can!
