Mouse is jumpy in Pre-OS apps but fine once OS is loaded HELP!!

Ok here is the deal. I have three partitions primary partitions(only one is active at a time obviously) The first one is WinME, 2nd is Win2k and the third is WinXP. Ok I have had this setup before but accidently formatted the RAID array so I am starting from scratch now. I use boot magic to give me my boot OS selection. When I boot from CD and use Partiton Magic on the CD the mouse jumps all over the place, which it never did before. But once I am in the OS it is fine. Same goes for the boot magic screen. The mouse is all over then when I select the OS (with the keyboard) the mouse is fine under the OS. Help please

Is it a USB mouse, your dos USB drivers might not be as good as windows.

Ps/2..what is the command to delete the MBR?

You are seeing the difference between DOS drives and Windows drivers. I would only expect better performance in DOS if better DOS drivers exist.

Why would you want to overwrite the MBR? It may help determine the best way for fixing the MBR. There's 'fdisk /mbr', 'sys c:', fixboot, etc.
