Hi!

I have bh6 and cel 366@550 and sometimes mouse pointer disapeares, but i can still select things but i dont know where the pointer is. Sometimes the comuter completely locks up. Has anyone had any similar anomalies?

I have 192mb pc 100 ram,tnt2 16mb and wd 20Gb

wow....this forum is fast.....🙁

I would really want to know if someone has seen the mouse pointer disapearing.

Thanx

well, since you didnt even say WHAT mouse:

for starters -
connector loose in back of case or pin pushed in
PS2 speed set too high, or bad
"PS2 Rate" program NFG
O/C PCI/serial speed: USB is 125MHZ sample rate>>PS/2 is 40MHZ BEFORE O/C!!
plastic spoke wheel inside mouse broken
mouse on IRQ 12? USB - still IRQ12?
disable in BIOS (external)com 1-2 if not used
driver corrupted (use sys file checker)
xtra mice in safe mode?
if mouse on USB may conflict w/IDE controller IRQ (sharing)or soundcard, change to PCI
uncheck DMA on HDD to see if BM conflict, remove NIC to check this also if present
Logitech mice are problematic - replace

(first thoughts)

Hi!

I think it has nothing to do with mouse itself.Conectors ok, drivers also, cause it worked before. It is strange cause mouse works, but the pointer freezes at one point of the scren....but at the backgrund there is still a mouse pointer, like it was invisible

I dont use any USB, it is disabled in Bios. I also noticed that my computer freezes when at first boot. (?.Could it be bios? I flashed it with lates ss bios for bh6.

I dont know really...oh yeah..it is genius 3 button mouse...model "mouse 2000" 🙂
