Mouse freezes, any ideas?

recently my mouse tends to get slugish and freeze very briefly. I've checked my CPU processes when it freezes and I don't get anything out of the ordinary. My idle process is usually at 97% and I get 1% from a couple others. Any ideas?

I have the M310 Logitech. I bought it sometime back in Walmart and never messed with changing it because it works well with Autocad 2014. You think it just might be the mouse? I bought it about 3 months ago and use it over a Steelseries large pad.
