On the top left picture I have lifted mouse from mouse pad, other pictures are taken with mouse lying down on mouse pad.

atm I have Razer Abyssus, sensitivity 450 dpi, 6/11, 65CM/360, Black cloth Qck+.
As can seen I grip / lift the mouse with thumb + pinky finger also my palm makes contact with the end of the mouse, so I think my palm aswell helps in gripping the mouse.
I guess I'm a finger grip or Claw grip player?

I have looked at CM Storm Spawn / Xornet, Roccat Pyra.
What do you guys think, any other good mice?

I think you should consider the Logitech g9x. It's a relatively fat mouse, but it isn't that long in length(no homo).

Depending on where you live, try heading out to a computer store (like Fry's electronics) or something like Best Buy or Office Max/Depot. Most of them have display models you can try and see how they fit.

I prefer a mouse that is formed to my hand and kind of fits in my palm. I use this one: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/performance-mouse-mx

It is a bit higher than most regular mice and I prefer that. I'd say my hand position is about the same as yours, except my middle finger lays almost flat on the right mouse button. I don't use my ring finger or pinky, other than to hold the mouse. My palm does touch/rest on the end of the mouse as well.

This for gaming or general purpose? I'm a big fan of thumbmice for every day use, but I wouldn't recommend it for gaming.
