Mouse Feet?

Anyone know of a decent supplier of mouse feet?

The little pads that go on the bottom of the mice?

My dogfood eatin' brother in-law insisted on dissection of a MX1000 to see the innards and this required removal of the feet and the originals are kind of messed up. :laugh:

bah, i've worn through my original mouse feet and part of the bottom layer of plastic with no problems

I know someone sells some type of teflon tape for this use in particular (I think it's thicker and sticky on one side, unlike your average teflon tape). I don't remember what it's called though.

double sided tape would work very well, those with the slick surfaces.

I actually have some 8mm PTFE balls that I am going to send over to precision machining to get cut in half. They came from our Mazzei powered eductor system.

The challenge is how to bond PTFE (which no glue sticks to!) to the bottom of the mouse. It will be cool having a mouse that glides on teflon half balls!
