Mouse Continuously double clicking....

Yes so i have an intelli mouse optical and what happened was this. It started in the game Never winter nights, it would click 2wice when i was only clicking 1 time. It started out not doing it all the time but then slowly progressed into a contiuous thing. Now it wont stop. Also now the scroll wheel will not work. Is this a known issue how can i fix it please help someone!

1) Return it if it's still under warranty.
2) Open it up and clean it if not.
3) Use it as an excuse to upgrade to a MX700 or something better.

Are you using a Keyboard Mouse Video switch? If not, RMA. If so, could be a switch issue.
