Mouse buttons

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to disable the back and forward buttons of a Mouse. If for some reason there is no easy way. My concern is in Internet Explorer, so disabling the function in IE is also good and just to mention it, one thing is hide the buttons and another is to not allow that functionality, I have no way to modify the code of the pages.

The mouse came with a Dell. Maybe that Logitech tool will work with this one, after all a mouse is a mouse.
