My cordless logitech mouse, which I love dearly, has started to double click accidently when it should only be single clicking. I would say it happens 1 in 4 times. I believe it is a hardware problem, when I take apart the mouse and use only the top part without the bottom half (which contains the mouse ball, etc) the double click problem seems to dissapear. I can't find anything that's pushing on it when the lower half is attached. Any ideas? I want my mouse back :(

maybe ya tried this ...but in control panel...mouse.....then mouse properties you can set the speed of your clicks, under activities...maybe that'll solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply Trashman, but unfortunately this isn't going to be a super easy fix, I've tried that, along with re-installing drivers, and moving the radio reciever.. it looks to be hardware related.. will give logitech a call tommorow.

Could be dirt and crap trapped under the keys.. clean it thoroughly, including rollers and under the tabs.. its a pain but beats getting a new one if thats all it is. Of course a free replacement would be better if you can get it from logitech
