may it rest in peace, it served me well over the year...

now i have to sell my soul and most of my worldly possessions so i can afford a socket a mobo/proc/heatsink :(

My poor monitor. Wait... monitors... I had to exchange 4 monitors to get a working one from KDS. NOTE: Don't buy KDS monitors.

Thats pretty much it.

EDIT - Oh yeah, and a bunch of dead mice/keyboards/printers. And a 300Watt PSU.

My poor, poor hard drive. It was good enough to warn me ahead of time before its passing. Hence, I mourn it even more. Since I would have been completely screwed otherwise.

It was also VERY quiet, the new drive I bought is loud as hell. I couldn't wait for the replacement to get here, so now I've got a nice quiet sealed drive collecting dust in my closet until I build my next computer.

I miss that old drive. :(

My poor no-name mobo that housed an AMD K6-233. It was a sorry case of drinking and BIOS flashing. I'm not sure what happened. I just know that it never booted up again :(

Epox slot A mb that I slammed into a wall after yanking the defective POS crap out of my case...lol, the MSI K7 Turbo that replaced was so frightened at this display that it hasn't given me any problems :)

Lol, I have a poor history with Epox boards, I blew up two of their socket 7 boards when I was first starting out :)

Only hardware that has died on me are my keyboard and mouse, but they were Compaq junk, and I replaced them right away.

I had some Generic PC100 RAM die on me today. :( Luckily, thanks to this thread, I picked up a Kingston 256MB PC100 DIMM from Dell for $20.21 shipped. Sweet! :D

I haven't killed anything yet--although I've had the honor of "retiring" some of my hardware. *sniff*
