Mounting YS-Tech Fan Controller

Where should this be mounted (and how do I mount it). Can I mount it on a un used plastic faceplate, or does it have to be on something that is grounded?
(it is for my single ys-tech CPU fan)

This is sooo simple. Take the knob off. Drill a hole in [PCI slot cover, plastic bay cover, whatever]. Insert controller. Reattach knob. If you take the time to look at the controller, it will be very obvious how the knob is removed.
