Mounting the TT Big Typhoon

I recently RMA'ed my motherboard and the original sticky's that came with my original TT Big Typhoon were stuck on the old motherboard.

Is there a way to purchase those stickys again, or is there a way to remount it back on my new motherboard?

I've never heard of it for a Big Typhoon. There is for the Scythe Ninja: link. Look at it, and see if you think it might also work with your Big Typhoon.

No, you should have removed those. Try contacting the company, and see if you can get some more.

You can mount the Big Typhoon w/o the foam, stickies, or backplate for that matter.

It's not ideal, but depending on mobo, sometimes you can't really use the backplate etc.

I just used teh rubber (or whatever they are) washers + bolts on mine, since i couldn't put on the backplate due to the metal bits all over the back area.

You may be able to just use the stock backplate. At least that's how they tell you to do it on 939 boards in the instructions. I attached the foam pad onto the backplate but left the paper covering on the other side intact, so it doesn't stick to the motherboard at all.

Mind telling us which cpu and socket? Sounds like LGA775...
make your own.

Use some electric tape to tape the back, where the backplate goes (so you don't conduct electricity incase the backplate touches the board)
You can use generic thin foam, just cut it in the same shape.
Stick it inbetween the plate and board so you have cushion, the whole point of the foam is to provide cushion so you dont end up crushing anything.

I have a TT BT as well, I used the provided foam but never peeled off the adhesive part, just stuck it inbetween.
