I swear, it looks like he is using the camera housing to mount it.
Easy solution?
Chest Harness/bag for the dog - http://www.amazon.com/ABO-Gear-Aussi...782283&sr=8-13
Tripod Mount adapter for the GoPro - http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/tripod-mount/
Buy a screw that fits the tripod adapter (can't remember size off the top of my head) and you'll need to mount it to the harness. Hopefully you can grommet it to avoid any ripping/tearing.
Thanks. already got the gear bag so I guess only need the tripod mount.
It attaches to a standard 1/4" thread right? Just get the appropriate nut, bolt and washers and put it through one of the eyelets on your dog's collar (expand as needed). Or punching a hole (gromet) through the top of a vest probably helps keep things stable.
As for the collar, I've seen goPro vids wear it's just hanging from the collar underneath the neck (can see a portion of the snout in the video). Kind of an interesting viewpoint.
Except NS1 has a corgi - he'd basically be dragging the camera through the dirt. Can't mount it on top with a collar because you'd have to choke the dog to prevent it from slipping to either side.
eh, he could probably handle the camera on the chest but I'd prefer the view "between the ears"
We have a dog hiking pack, so we'll probably try to mount the camera to it like this:
